REMOVAL OF ASBESTOS AND DEMOLITION
OF FIVE COMMUNITIES BUILDING
IN THE AURIZON CORRIDOR
This was high risk work not only pertaining to the removal of the non friable asbestos and the demolition of the communication buildings but pertaining to the work being within 3 meters of the track and live over head traction wires.
The project was on budget, on time and without incidence.
The Project involved all track side protection, HV Isolation and demarcation of the site area.
A 23 meter insulated EWP was required for the demolitions of the lattice tower. This required high risk license to operate as well as a 80 tonne crane and an extendable semi trailer.
The Lattice Tower was removed on time, on budget and without incidence.
